Gin Scapegrace

Gin Scapegrace Classic is a modern gin with a soft and citrus taste produced by 3 young New Zealand boys. The initial distillate is obtained from only wheat and the flavoring takes place with 12 different botanicals from various countries: lemon peel, orange peel, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, nutmeg, juniper berries, cloves, angelica , licorice, orris, cinnamon and cassia bark. The distillation is discontinuous and takes place with a traditional copper whiskey still from 1900. An important feature is the use of extremely pure water naturally filtered by the rocks of the mountain range in the south of the island.

Scapegrace Classic Gin won the silver medal in the 2017 edition of the International Wine Spirit Competition.
