Rum Plantation X0 20th Anniversary - Barbados Rum

Plantation's XO 20th Anniversary Extra Old Rum comes from the Caribbean island of Barbados. It is obtained entirely from sugar cane molasses and then subjected to 12 years of aging in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, aging for a further 18-24 months in France, in ex-cognac barrels.

Amber in colour, with mahogany reflections, Plantation's 20th Anniversary Rum opens up to the nose in all its richness and complexity, with hints of exotic fruit and sugar cane, enriched by pleasant notes derived from the passage in barrel such as vanilla, cocoa and pepper. On the palate it is complex and well balanced, with spicy, creamy and toasted notes.
