Rum Saint Aubin VSOP

Blend of rums aged in bourbon barrels and cognac barrels and blended after a minimum of 4 years of maturation; it opens on the nose with coppery notes, toasted walnuts and burnt spices, with a common thread of toasted oak and coffee; the wood is also heavily burned, releasing aromas of coffee and toasted nuts, but also a little fruit syrup. The palate is caressed by a candied cane, which cheerfully lets green, vegetal but sweet notes slide; the melted wood brings aromas of almond, stone and spicy apricot jam, towards a finish of oak, vanilla tobacco and coconut milk.
