Rooster's Rojo Anejo tequila was distilled from 100% agave and matured for at least a year in used bourbon barrels. A wonderfully nuanced tequila that is worth discovering.
On the nose it has hints of dark chocolate, spicy tobacco, freshly brewed coffee and aromatic oak.
On the palate, flavors of creamy caramel, fine vanilla, toasted agave, delicate vanilla and spicy oak. The long-lasting finish is accompanied by oak and vanilla.
